My personal tribute to this historic area of Jakarta.

Kota Tua is known as the old Batavia town of Jakarta, Indonesia. Despite civil unrests, modernization and various changes throughout the years, this place retains its Dutch colonial buildings and legacy. Every weekend, there will be people buying, selling and visiting the museums in this area. A must-go and fascinating place if you ever visit Jakarta.

Give me some comments about what do you think of this form of presentation. I’m still trying out various formats!

  1. Hi Jieyi, how are you doing? Interesting presentation. What prog do u use? I’d prefer the presentation to have more ethnic music…?

  2. I kinda like the way the photos overlap, with the ‘unprofessional’ cutting of the different photos. It makes this clip more original. I thought the very first (and last clip) of the background music was weird, i thought there was something wrong with the clip when i first heard. The others are quite good selection, indon music.

One thing i don’t like was the photos having to load individually when the clip is played as it will mean lagging. Anyway I tried a few times already, the 6th photo cannot be loaded though…
